News from the Worshipful Master:

Hello Brethren,

Well I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.

On December, 3, 2011 we held our annual installation of officers, the following were elected to serve your lodge this year. Master Brian Arnold, Sr.Warden Jeffrey Moore, Jr.Warden George Dexter, Secretary WB Al Partida, Treasure WB Mike Fair, Chaplain WB Pat Crawford, Tyler Tom Panstingle, Sr.Deacon Rob Heaton, Jr Deacon Al Hurley, Marshall Mike Williamson, LEO Benny Johnson and Sr&JR Stewards are Ron Smith & Robert Gaskins. I would also like to thank the installing team of RWB Laudermilk, WB Adam Panstingle, WB Skip Vanderhorst & Curtis Parson’s. You all did a great job THANKS!!!!!!!

I would like to thank all of the officers for stepping up and being officers of the lodge to keep it running in the best direction possible. I hope some brothers that have not attended for one reason or another will find the time to start coming back to lodge and be active. We are going to do the best degree work as we possibly can get back to promoting a great place to share brotherly love and friendship.

I would like to take the time to say a personal thank you to RWB Howard Laudermilk, WB Al Partida, Brother Roy Adams, Brother Jack Gibson & Brother Benny Johnson for a job well done on replacing all the ceiling tiles and lights in the dining hall area of the lodge. The area is much improved and has not gone unnoticed and all of your hard work and dedication to the lodge is very much appreciated.

Also, after 20+ years, WB Steve Scarpelli has retired from preparing our Lodge bulletin and our Sr. Warden Bro. Jeffrey Moore will be taking over. Please be patient with Bro. Jeffrey as he learns the ropes of the bulletin over the next few months. If you know of anyone who does not get their bulletin, please let Bro. Jeffrey know. He can be reached at (614) 214-1432 and by e-mail at jeffreymoore46@gmail.com

If any brother needs a ride to any of the meeting please feel free to call me or any officer for a ride and we will see that you get away to the meeting. We will be meeting every Thursday for either practice or a degree @ 7pm so that we can have a great inspection this year. We will be doing the EA degree for inspection on February, 18th at 9:00 A.M followed by Knollwood lodge doing the EA degree as well with a dinner in between the degrees.

I hope you all have a great month and hope to see you all at lodge.

Fraternally,

WB Brian S Arnold, Beaver Valley Masonic Lodge # 753

From the Secretary's Desk:

Brethren,

As always, should your mailing address, email address, telephone number, or other personal information change, please let me know immediately so I can change it in our official Lodge records.

For those of you that have valid email accounts on record, the Trestle Board is available through email. This allows you to get your bulletin 2-3 weeks before you would receive it by “snail mail.” If do not receive the Trestle Board by email but would like to, please send me a message at the email address listed below and I can make sure you get added to the email list.

Fraternally and Sincerely,
WB Albert J. Partida, Secretary

Ormus Grotto #24 News

Monarch: Jeffrey S. Moore

Prophets,

I am pleased and honored to serve as Monarch for 2012. We had a great installation in Springfield with the prophets of Khana Shahar Grotto on December 9, and a Christmas party at the Temple on December 17. Prophet Santa Claus once again came to the party to hand out gifts to the kids; a special thank you goes out to Prophet Mike Williamson for being our North Pole connection again this year.

My goals this year are to increase our membership and get more existing members to come out to our meetings. If you know of anyone who wants to become a Prophet of the Enchanted Realm, please let me know. Also, if you want to attend our meeting and need a ride, I would be happy to find transportation. I hope to see a full house at our next meeting on January 3.

We have been discussing the Grotto’s finances for the last few meetings. We are desperately looking for ways to cut costs and bring in more revenue. If you know of any fundraising opportunities or ideas please let me know ASAP. Grotto might be the Mason’s playground, but that playground needs money for repairs and upkeep.

I look forward to a great year, and with the help of my officers I think we can accomplish a lot. And remember, “G” also stands for Grotto!

Fraternally,

Jeffrey S. Moore, Monarch
